Girls between the ages of ten and fourteen were in this Junior-level troop which met at the Emanuel Cohen Center on the North Side, 1944. The photograph was taken as a promotional shot for a play the troop put on at the Center called "the Seven Stages of Life."

The school bus was transporting a group of day camp students when it was involved in the collapse of the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis on August 1, 2007.
