Jeff Kolnick is a professor of history at Southwest Minnesota State University. His work on Minnesota history ranges from political history to a project that looks at Minnesota's connection to the San Lucas Mission in Guatemala. Kolnick is a founding member of the Fannie Lou Hamer National Institute on Citizenship and Democracy.
