Dave Kenney is a freelance writer specializing in Minnesota history. His books for Minnesota Historical Society Press include Minnesota in the '70s, Twin Cities Picture Show, Minnesota Goes to War, and the state history textbook Northern Lights. He is a two-time winner of the Minnesota Book Award.
