Albert Woolson statue in the Gettysburg Battlefield in Ziegler’s Grove.

Monument to Albert Woolson as the last surviving member of the Union Army in the Civil War. Woolson was not at the Gettysburg battle. The statue was placed there in his memory and of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR). The statue was dedicated in September 1956.
